One of my friends is selling his "Canon 28-135 IS USM lens". He let me test it and it was a lot of fun to be able to take pictures with the "IS" feature (image stabilizer). I hope I can get a good deal on it.

Last year at the "CDS Christmas Party" we all tried to ride the Uni-cycle, here is a picture of my trying again this year. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Maybe next year I'll be able to move forward.

I just had a nice but busy weekend. On Friday the place a work at had their Christmas Party. The event was fun, but a little draining for me, so I went home and lit my fire pit, smoked my pipe and relaxed. It was nice and cool night wordy of the pipe. On Saturday I ran on a 10k (6.2 miles) winning first place on my age group, The funny part is that I was the only one. ;-) Saturday evening I went to my friend's (Ali,Kelly,Kristin) Christmas Party. They called it the "Random House Party". On Sunday I decided to go back and visit the Nazarene Church I visited last Sunday. They had the kids doing Christmas plays and songs. I was not in the mood for that so I left, I ended up at Panera, were I had lunch and read a few Chapters of "Searching for God Knows What" by Donald Miller, author of "Blue like Jazz" If you have not read any of his books I would recommend it. They are really good and real.

Jonny Rocket and me spent Thanksgiving with our friend K. Town. We drove from FL to GA and stayed at her parent's house. We had a blast and we had some really good southern food. We played video games, cards and rode ATV's through the woods. Here is a picture.

This summer I had the opportunity to visit fort Collings, Colorado. I was there for two weeks on a conference called CSU. While there I visited Estes Park, I went hiking with a few friends. Here is one of the pictures from that trip. I'll post a link to more pictures later.
